Festival of the folklore culture "Pobrazenje"
This festival ever since 2011 is traditionally starting to take its place on the map of cultural event here in Vevcani. It is from 16th to 19th of August, under the skillful organization of the Cultural Artistic society "KUD Drimkol". There is a special significance of this festival, not only does it enriches the cultural life in Vevcani but it also cherishes and develops the folklore tradition in our country and preserves it for the future generations. The participants in this festival are eminent performers from our country such as from abroad.
The festival is during the celebration of a religious holiday that many families in Vevcani celebrate it and that is how it got its name.
Purposes of the festival:

Raising the awareness to the public of the importance of nourishing the folklore tradition and the part of the same in the development of tourism

Continually promoting domestic and foreign folklore tradition with a focus of culture diversity

Enlargement of the tourist offering throughout building a recognizable manifestation

Scientific night where throughout debates, forums and exhibitions certain topics are treated, connected with the Macedonian cultural heritage

Ceremoniously opening the festival with performance of domestic and foreign ensemble

Ceremoniously closing of the festival – ethno night in which source instrumental groups perform and singing groups
Since 2015 a prize has been introduced ‘’ Keepers of the original tradition’’ that is awarded to the most successful group that presents original folklore.
